The history of Salini Groupe began with Giovanni Salini, who moved to France in the 1950s and adopted the French version of his name, Jean. On April 1, 1965, he founded Jean Salini & Cie, establishing a business initially focused on construction activities.
Over the years, Jean Salini & Cie expanded and gradually broadened its scope of operations. As the company grew in size, expertise and responsibilities, it underwent a first structural evolution with the creation of Entreprise Salini. This transformation accompanied the company's growth and the diversification of its projects.
In 2000, the company was renamed Salini Immobilier. This change also marked a strategic shift: the company discontinued its structural construction activities and refocused on its role as a general contractor, expanding its scope of services and structuring its expertise around more comprehensive projects.
In 2006, brothers Philippe and Stéphane Salini founded Salini Groupe. The holding company was established to bring together the various existing entities under a common framework. This new structure clarified the Group's organization and supported the long-term development of its activities.
Since then, Salini Groupe has relied on several specialized companies, each operating in a specific field or area of expertise. The Group has grown steadily while preserving its family-owned character and maintaining an organization designed for the long term.
